Unmoorings

I decided to continue my studies by entering the Master of Visual Studies program at the University of Toronto in 2008. 

In those two years, I went deep into the power of images. I was fascinated with television and computer

screens as a kind of filter on reality that distorts what we think is out there. 

What is the relationship between images and power? How do images inspire and manipulate? How do images relate to dreams and faith? I made a thesis show entitled Unmoorings, which proposed the idea that reality is not some touchable, physical thing. It is simply what we believe it is and this belief is managed through images.
